Viz LVO is an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered software designed to detect emergent large vessel occlusions (ELVO) from CT angiography (CTA) imaging, potentially expediting ischemic stroke triage and treatment. However, its impact on mechanical thrombectomy (MT) procedural volumes remains an essential consideration. This study evaluates the effect of Viz LVO implementation on thrombectomy procedure numbers at a comprehensive stroke center.
