Viz HCM: Using AI to advance diagnosis and management of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

Wed, September 13, 2023 7:00 PM (EST)

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is the most common, inherited cardiovascular disease and one of the leading causes of sudden cardiac death in people under age 35. However, only 20% of people with this disease have been diagnosed.

Viz HCM is an artificial intelligence (AI) workflow software that detects suspected HCM on electrocardiograms (ECGs) in real time and directs patients to the appropriate care specialists for further recommended workup.

In this webinar, Dr. Ronald Wharton, HCM Program Director at NorthShore University Hospital, will discuss with Jayme Strauss, Viz.ai’s Chief Clinical Officer:

  • Challenges in diagnosis and management of HCM
  • How AI can advance HCM programs
  • Early findings from clinical research with Viz HCM
