SAN FRANCISCO -Oct. 29, 2020- WORLD STROKE DAY — Today, on World Stroke Day, many prominent health systems such as Banner Health, Ohio State University Medical Center, Atrium Health, and Piedmont Healthcare are using artificial intelligence (AI) powered synchronized stroke solutions from Viz.ai to expedite care, which has been shown to improve outcomes1 and reduce length of stay2. In a record quarter ending in October, more than 100 hospitals have selected Viz.ai’s solution to increase access to care in the United States.
Stroke will affect one out of every four people worldwide and is the number five cause of death and a leading cause of disability in the United States, according to the American Stroke Association. World Stroke Day aims to increase awareness and recognize the signs of stroke. One of the most critical care factors for stroke is time to treatment. Faster treatment can save lives and improve quality of life following a stroke.
