Prospective Multicenter Study on the Impact of an AI-Enabled CDSS on COPD Care

The goal of this study is to evaluate the impact of implementing an AI-enabled clinical workflow tool (Viz COPD) on pulmonologist follow up and clinical outcomes after an acute exacerbation resulting in an emergency department visit or hospitalization. The results of this study will inform clinical practice and may provide a new care pathway for optimizing patient outcomes and reducing morbidity and mortality in this patient population.
